(NEW YORK) — Trader Joe’s said it has recalled three of its packaged salads on Saturday after a supplier said there might be pieces of glass or hard plastic inside.
The recall affects the grocery chain’s white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad.
Trader Joe’s said on its website that it has already removed the contaminated salads from store shelves. Customers who have already bought the salads should look for used-by dates between Nov. 10 and Nov. 21. Affected salads will also have the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s inspection code “P-40299.”
White meat chicken and curried white chicken deli salads in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Turkey cranberry apple salads in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington are at risk.
The grocery chain is encouraging customers to either discard the salads or return them for a refund.
