(LOS ANGELES) — Last Sunday’s Game of Thrones‘ penultimate episode, “The Bells,” marked a ratings high for the series, drawing 12.5 million viewers. Factoring in HBO’s streaming platforms, the episode was watched by a season high 18.4 million people.

Overall, Game of Thrones‘ eighth and final season is averaging 43 million viewers per episode across all platforms, an increase of more than ten million viewers from last season.

In other good news for HBO, another one of its Emmy winning series, Veep, went out with a bang — the Julia Louis-Dreyfus-led show’s finale also marked a series best, reaching a season-high 1.1 million viewers in its initial airing and 1.6 million total viewers.
