LINCOLN, Neb. — All layers in Nebraska during October 2017 totaled 7.70 million, down from 8.96 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Nebraska egg production during October totaled 193 million eggs, down from 230 million in 2016. October egg production per 100 layers was 2,513 eggs, compared to 2,564 eggs in 2016.
