2018 WNAC Art Walk will have 11 stops, bus service to shuttle participants

This weekend will be a festive one, including the West Nebraska Arts Center “Art Walk” among the many activities available to area residents.

This Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm in the afternoon, you can take part in a free tour around Scottsbluff highlighting 11 of the arts-related studios and businesses in the area.

Rod Clause, artist and Art Walk organizer, tells KNEB News participants will be treated to a lot of variety. “There’s watercolor, oils, bronze are in there, glass-blowing in my gallery, I have glass-blowers,” says Clause, “And in some of the galleries you’re going to go to, you can actually see some artists doing work, and visit with them.”

The Tri-City Roadrunner bus service will provide service between the Arts Center and 7 other stops on the tour, shuttling people between the various locations at no cost.

For those that visit all 11 locations, they will be eligible for a number of prizes, including art work, music and art lessons, and even body art.
