The 2nd annual United Way of Western Nebraska Radiothon was an overwhelming success.

KNEB Radio hosted the 11-hour Radiothon from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Main Street Market in Scottsbluff.

When all the pledges were counted, the event raised $16,105 for the United Way, and increase of nearly $5,000 over last year’s Radiothon.

Campaign co-chair Andrew Hunzeker said with the finish line for the campaign already in sight, they were making a final push to reach their $375,000 goal.

Hunzeker says most of their Pacesetter businesses have already made their donations to the campaign, but urged any other small businesses or individuals who want to make a huge impact with their donations to come forward.
