Following Friday’s news  conference in West  Point featuring Governor Pete Ricketts , Nebraska DOT Director Kyle Schneweis sat down with Rick Vincent and  talked specifically about the Highway  275 project scheduled to start moving  dirt in 2019.

Estimated construction time is two years.  The start of the schedule depends  on how long it takes the Army Corps of Engineers to complete its environmental review.

Highway 275 is to be widened to two lanes from just south of Scribner to the southern edge of West Point.
