(AUDIO) Halloween Carnival to be held in Bancroft this weekend

A Halloween Carnival is being held in Bancroft on Saturday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Community Club Member Amber Bridges has the details. “We’re going to have carnival games available for the kids to play. It will be hosted in the Bancroft-Rosalie School in Bancroft in the Small Gym. So they can also bring pumpkin carving and decorating, we’re having a competition for that with prizes. And then also a costume contest.”

Bridges says the trick or treat will still be held on Halloween on Main Street.

Some games will be a repeat of the past, but there will be new games as well. “We have different carnival games like in the past, these are all the different games that we’ve had in the past years. So you can like go Punch a Pumpkin, that has been a fun one. We’re trying to rotate our carnival games. So we have the new ones that I don’t want to tell you about so you have to come and check it out. But little carnival games you might have to shoot like a nerf gun at a target, all around Halloween themes. And from tiny ages all the way up until Middle School. And so we’re trying to find different games that all the kids can participate in,” Bridges said.

Bridges says it costs $1 for 10 carnival tickets. Money is being raised for HarvestFest.

Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served.
