The West Point Beemer school board decided Monday night to start preschool for three-year-olds in the fall of 2020. That gives the administration time to figure out where to hold it and how many staff members will be needed. The district has had all-day preschool for four-year-olds for a year now.
The board also approved a strategic plan for the district and approved a three percent salary increase for classified staff, which includes positions such as paras, cooks and bus drivers.
