Authorities searching for missing Kimball man

**UPDATE- Search called off after authorities confirm he checked out of a Scottsbluff hotel room Tuesday morning**

Authorities are searching an isolated area in the eastern end of Scotts Bluff County for a Kimball man who has reportedly been missing for over a week.

Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman says a search near the Banner/ Scotts Bluff County line for 39-year-old Logan McCloud was conducted today after his vehicle was found abandoned.

In addition, the Kimball Police Department took and issued a missing person report on McCloud this morning- who was reportedly last seen November 6th.

Today, deputies attempted to locate McCloud at his last known address in Scotts Bluff County but were unsuccessful. Overman says in addition to the ongoing search at the rural location, Sheriff’s office investigative personnel are actively working on this case in cooperation with other agencies.
