LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts issued the following statement in observance of Presidents’ Day, which is celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2018.
“Today we celebrate the statesmanship and legacy of America’s greatest Presidents,” said Governor Ricketts. “The leadership of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan have helped America achieve the greatest prosperity and security in human history. Their work helped the American President become and remain the recognized leader of the free world, the champion of liberty, and defender of the fundamental human rights at home and around the globe. On this day, let us honor their legacies and recommit ourselves to advancing the ideals they embodied.”
