Keystone XL Pipeline application hearing ahead

Lincoln — The Nebraska Public Service Commission will hold a hearing on the Keystone XL Pipeline Application August 7-11, beginning at 9 a.m. CDT each day at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln. The ending times each day will be determined by the proceedings.

The hearing before the Commission is an evidentiary proceeding, with witness testimony, cross examination and exhibits presented. Retired Lancaster County District Judge Karen Flowers will preside over the proceeding.

There will be no decision made at the end of the hearing. A formal written decision will be released by the Commission at a later date.

Public comment was taken during four public meetings held prior to the evidentiary hearing. There will be no public comment taken during the evidentiary hearing.
