These are just a few off the closures – check 5-1-1 before heading out!

Highway 275 is open north of West Point.
Highway 275 is closed West Point to Scribner
Highway 275 is closed between Fremont and Valley
Highway 32 is closed in both directions from West Point west to Highway 15
Sections of Highway 32 are closed west of Oakland
US 77 is closed in both directions at Uehling
Highway 77 is closed southbound at Hooper
US 77 is closed at Fremont
Highway 91 is close between Nickerson and Blair
Highway 30 closed between North Bend and Ames

At a press conference in Fremont Saturday morning, Gov. Pete Ricketts said what’s happening is an ominous sign for those downstream, who are likely to face flooding.

Ricketts and other state officials said people should consider leaving preemptively — don’t wait to be told to evacuate.

And the National Weather Service said areas like Ashland and Plattsmouth still face trouble today as the Platte and Missouri Rivers continue to rise.
