The Minatare Public School community came together today to send their outgoing seniors out in style.

This morning at Minatare Elementary School,  students, faculty and staff lined the hallways to give a proper goodbye to the Class of 2017.

The Seniors paraded down the hallways where many of them got their start in education, and hopefully inspires the younger students to follow suit further down road.

Minatare Guidance Councilor Becky Mayhew says most of these seniors will be continuing their education.

“Most of our students have scholarships,” explains Mayhew. “One to UNL- a full ride to UNL; and then we have several going to Chadron State, WNCC, and EWC.”

Minatare High School graduation is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the High School auditorium.
