A Kimball man that was the subject of a search in the Scotts Bluff County countryside is now back with his family.

Sheriff Mark Overman confirms with KNEB News that 39 year old Logan McCloud was located by deputies outside a Scottsbluff motel late Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier in the day,  Overman says his department removed McCloud from missing persons reports after determining he had checked in to a local motel this past Monday and left the following day.

A ground search for McCloud centered on the eastern Banner/ Scotts Bluff County line after his vehicle was found abandoned and his ‘significant other’ told Kimball Police he was last seen November 6th.

Overman says he was reunited with family members Wednesday night.

The Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball Police Department, Nebraska Game and Parks, Scotts Bluff County CERT Team, Goshen County Search and Rescue, AirLink and the Nebraska State Patrol were all involved in the investigation.
