LEXINGTON – The Dawson County Historical Museum announces it will host a Dawson County Championship Trivia Night on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at the museum, 805. N. Taft St. in Lexington. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s ongoing work to update exhibits and catalog and preserve archive materials.
Along with the trivia contest there will be an auction with items of interest, food, a cash bar and lots and lots of fun! Tables for the trivia contest are available for $250 and each table can seat up to eight players.
In addition, there will be a drawing for a 30-30 Winchester 1958 collector rifle, Model 94. The age of the rifle coincides with the museum’s 60th anniversary this year. The rifle is on display at the museum for anyone interested to look at. The museum is selling only 2,000 tickets. Cost is $10 for a single ticket or three tickets for $20.
