No major changes expected as Viriginia firm purchases Vertex

A Hampton, Virginia firm has announced they have purchased Vertex and the utility call center operations at its four locations, including Scottsbluff.

Faneuil President and Chief Executive Officer Anna Van Buren told KNEB News they are excited about their acquisition, which she says “will expand our reach in the utility  sector.”

Over 300 people are employed with Vertex in Scottsbluff and all of them have been offered employment with Faneuil. Van Buren says there will not be any major changes in the operation. Van Buren says the call center infrastructure will be changed to the system operated by Faneuil, which she added will be “transparent to the clients and the operation” although some improvement will be made.

The Vertex operations will do business under the name of Faneiul. 500 people are employed overall at the Vertex locations, which besides Scottsbluff include Kenesaw, Georgia; Richardson,Texas; and St. Louis.
