The site of vintage automobiles on area roadways will be a common site June 2nd through 4th as the 29th annual Sugar Valley Rally will be taking place.
Darrell Bentley, one of the event’s organizers, said a few past cars and drivers won’t be able to return. But he says they have also picked up a few new ones, so the number of entries, a little over 50, will stay pretty much like last year.
Bentley says the cars coming from a variety of state, as far as California to the west, Georgia from the south and east, and North Dakota from the north.
Teams are given a set of instructions and directions for the course. The team coming closest to the “perfect” computer generated score wins. The Sugar Valley Rally is not a speed race, but a precision timed event.
