A 37-year-old Gering woman has been arraigned on charges stemming from an April 25th burglary of a Scottsbluff trucking business.
Ann Buskirk made her first appearance on Monday for charges of Burglary and Theft by Unlawful Taking (0-$500).
Court documents say an employee arrived at the business and saw Buskirk and another person in the shop; they fled and deputies were called.
An investigation showed that the back door of the shop had been opened, and it was revealed that she was not allowed to be in the shop due to previous incidents.
The employee said his tool box had been broken into, tools had been piled up on the table, and some items were missing.
Deputies later had contact with Buskirk, who indicated she had acquired keys to gain access to the shop. She was arrested, and is now being detained on a $20,000 bond for the Class 2A Felony burglary charge and the Class II misdemeanor theft charge.
She’ll be back in court on Friday for her preliminary hearing.
