SBPD responding to spike in pets left in vehicle calls

As summer gets into full swing, the Scottsbluff Police Department is asking pet owners to be mindful of their furry friends.

Capt. Tony Straub says officers have had an influx of calls regarding dogs being left in locked vehicles while their owners are shopping.

Straub wanted to discuss this during this week’s regularly scheduled ‘Crime of the Week’ segment on KNEB.tv:
