Thanksgiving Day shooting in Kearney under investigation

 

The Kearney Police Department continues to investigation a Thanksgiving Day shooting in Kearney. Around 2:00pm on Thursday, officers were dispatched to the emergency room at CHI Health Good Samaritan on a report of a 26-year-old man who reported that he had been shot at his Kearney residence.

The investigation determined that the incident occurred during an altercation involving several subjects at a residence, near 30th Street and 5th Avenue in Kearney. It was also determined
that the victim has been shot more than one time with what is believed to be a BB / Pellet gun. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
