LEXINGTON, NE – United by Culture Media will be holding their Annual United By Culture (UBC) Festival beginning Friday August 19, through Sunday August 21, in Lexington, Nebraska. The 3-day weekend will feature a downtown diverse business tour, a community-cleanup, a family movie and the main event with fun attractions and guest performers.
The UBC Festival will kick-off Friday with a tour of Lexington’s local diverse businesses. On Saturday, you can join in a community clean-up in downtown Lexington, and a special showing of “Daniel visits a new neighborhood” at 1pm at the Majestic Theatre.
Finally, the festival will begin Sunday 11am at Kirkpatrick Memorial Park with attractions, including a free fall tower, a bungee trampoline, and face painting. There will be plenty of giveaways, including a drawstring bag, cotton candy and prizes. Local food vendors will be on the scene with entertainment provided by folkloric dance group Raices de mi Tierra, South American music by Daniel Martinez and the Winnebago Ho-Chunk Dancers.
