HENDERSON, Neb. – Out with the old, in with the new. Plans for the new Henderson Health Care Services Long Term Living Project are finally coming to fruition.
Ground will soon be broken on the brand new $8.3 million, 36,000 square foot long term care facility, located just north of the existing long term care center.
The 40 resident facility, by Health Facilities Group and Sampson Construction, has plans to replace the current facility, the Henderson Care Center, which was constructed in 1950.
Times and technologies are ever-changing, and it is crucial to stay on pace with the rapidly evolving demands in long term care. Henderson Health Care CEO, Cheryl Brown, details what the facility will include.
The estimated completion date for the project is May 2019. Rosewood Court, their assisted-living facility, will maintain residency.
