...Freezing Drizzle and Light Snow or Flurries During the Morning Commute...

We will continue to see a mix of light wintry precipitation this morning. Accumulations remain very light, however untreated surfaces, roads, sidewalks, and bridges may be slippery.


Harrison-Pottawattamie-Mills-Stanton-Cuming-Burt-Dodge-Washington-Saunders-Douglas-Sarpy-Lancaster-
and Cass Counties are included.


That includes the cities of Missouri Valley, Woodbine, Logan, Dunlap, Council Bluffs, Glenwood, Stanton, West Point, Wisner, Tekamah, Oakland, Lyons, Decatur, Fremont, Blair, Wahoo, Ashland, Yutan, Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Lincoln, and Plattsmouth

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Patchy freezing drizzle, light snow and flurries. Little accumulation expected, however those areas affected by a narrow snow plume from near Norfolk toward Omaha could pick up an inch of snow.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Untreated roads, sidewalks, parking lots, and bridges are the primary concern. Windshields could also see some icing. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
