York County Sheriff’s Office Requests the Public’s Help with Two Cases

YORK – The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary occurring at the Central Valley Ag building in Benedict. The suspect removed cash from the business during the crime which occurred mid-September.

In a separate case, the sheriff’s office continues to investigate the shooting of a cow in a pasture near Road I, west of York. Individuals with information about either of these crimes are strongly encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 402-362-2999, or the York County Sheriff’s Office. Callers providing information to Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward and can remain anonymous.
