York County Sheriff’s seize 12 lbs of meth on I-80

YORK, Neb. – Twelve pounds of suspected meth, worth an estimated $520,000, is off the streets thanks to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

York County Sheriff’s Lieutenant, Paul Vrbka, said a deputy made the traffic stop at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday, on Interstate 80.

Both the driver, Madelennis Delacruz Diaz, 36, of Las Vegas, Nev., and the passenger, Elsy Perez, 35, of New Jersey, were arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

Both are currently being held in the York County Jail.
