YORK, Neb. – A date has been set for the Recall Election of York Mayor Orval Stahr.
Thursday evening, the York City Council convened, and selected the date of February 12, 2019, for the fate of York’s Mayor. It is not clear at this time if any candidates have come forward to contest Stahr.
The initial recall petition was filed stating Stahr broke the trust of the city department heads and is “neglectful of York’s best interests.” Stahr said the accusations were false.
