Area Athletes Shine in Warrior Classic All-Star Basketball Games

FREMONT – The 12th annual Warrior Classic All-Star Basketball Games were held on Saturday, June 2nd at Midland University’s Wikert Event Center in Fremont.

In the girls game, the White team defeated the Dark team 93-63. Fremont’s Samantha Shepard was the MVP for the White team and Aspen Jansa of Bishop Neumann was the MVP for the Dark team.

For area athletes, North Bend Central’s Kristin Lux scored 14 points and GACC’s Lexis Haase had 13 for the White team. Macey Kulhanek of Howells-Dodge scored 10 points for the Dark team.

In the boys game, the White team beat the Dark team 93-79. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder’s Ben Moxness was the MVP for the White team, scoring 21 points. Thomas Spoehr of Bennington was the MVP for the Dark team.

Garrett Seagren of Oakland-Craig added 13 points for the White team. Jacob Polk of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had 11 points for the Dark team.
