RRN/Grant Case signs his letter of intent to golf at Mount Mercy University.

YORK – York senior Grant Case inked his name on Tuesday to become a member of the Mount Mercy University golf team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Case says he was interested in Doane University initially, but was convinced Mount Mercy was the right fit once he stepped foot on campus…

Case often finds himself placing in the Top 10 at meets, but says looking back he’ll cherish the times with his teammates the most…

Case is part of a York golf squad that has won all seven team titles they’ve competed in so far this year. The Dukes will return to the course on May 1 at the Lincoln Southwest Invite.

The Mustang men’s golf team routinely appears in the Top 5 of their conference championships and just appeared in the national tournament two years ago.
