District Track & Field has arrived

District track and field meets got started yesterday and continue through today around the state.

Here’s a look at what’s on tap and then what happened with some highlights from the D-9 meet yesterday.

B-6 at Ogallala

Teams competing: Alliance, Chadron, Cozad, Gering, Gordon-Rushville, Gothenburg, McCook, Ogallala, Scottsbluff,  and Sidney.

Top three places in each running and field event will automatically qualify for the state meet.

C-9 at Sutherland

Teams competing: Bayard, Bridgeport, Chase County, Hemingford, Hershey, Kimball, Mitchell, Morrill, Perkins County, and Sutherland.

Top two places in each running and field event will automatically qualify for the state meet.
