LINCOLN-Exeter-Milligan, the #7 seed in Class D2, ran into the #2 seeded Riverside Chargers on Thursday and fell 67-48. This game was tight initially as the Timberwolves had a 15-12 lead after one quarter but after that things changed. Riverside took over in the second period leading 35-30 at halftime. In the second half, Riverside outscored Exeter-Milligan 32-18 en route to their victory.
The Chargers were paced by junior Treyden Prososki and his 30 points. Exeter-Milligan was led by sophomore Jackson Beethe as he scored 14 points. The Timberwolves season ends at 21-5. For Riverside, they move to 23-0 and will face Osmond in the semi-finals of the Class D2 State Tournament.
