HENDERSON, Neb. – With Wednesday being National Signing day, it’s only right that the Morningside football program landed one of Heartland Community Schools finest.
Connor Boehr signed his letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to play football for the Mustangs this upcoming fall. Boehr said he is ready to compete at the next level.
Boehr, a running back and linebacker for the Huskies this past season, finished second on the team in rushing with nearly 900 yards and 11 touchdowns. At the linebacker position, where Boehr was recruited by Morningside, he recorded 68 tackles, with three for loss and recovered one fumble.
Boehr chose Morningside over Concordia, Wayne State, Hastings College, and UNK.
