Set Three: Oklahoma 25 Iowa State 19
As the Cyclone struggles on offense continued, Christy Johnson-Lynch turned to her bench, bringing freshmen Jenna Brandt and Brooke Andersen into the fray. While the move helped stabilize the ISU offense, the home team struggled to get back into the contest as OU moved ahead 14-9. The Sooner block helped restrict ISU to a .083 hitting percentage with 5.0 total blocks in the set. Oklahoma took the set when Brianna Kadiku and Kylee McLaughlin stuffed Andersen at 25-19.

The Cyclone offense turned to Holthaus again, who got six kills to help bring ISU within one at 18-17. However, that was as close as the Cyclones would get. Oklahoma brought up match point at 24-20 and converted on the first asking when Holthaus was stuffed by Paige Anderson and Sarah Sanders at 25-20.
