Loper Volleyball Signs Seven

Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney head volleyball coach Rick Squiers announced today the names of seven high school seniors who’ll play for the Lopers next fall.

They are Michaela Bartels (Bennington H.S.), Sarah Brittain (Wichita, Kan./Bishop Carroll H.S.), Danae Drish (Fairfield, Ia./Fairfield H.S.), Carissa Jensen (Cozad H.D.), Madelyn “Maddy” Malm (Greeley, Colo./University H.S.), Kamryn Schuler (Gretna H.S.) and Bailey Wilson (Millard West H.S.).

UNK had four seniors on its 2018 roster in libero Ellie McDonnell, setter Lindsey Smith, outside hitter Kendall Schroer and defensive specialist Morgan Stute.

“The 2019 class is deep, talented, and versatile.  In addition to being outstanding volleyball players, this group has collectively demonstrated that they possess key intangibles for success in college athletics.  We couldn’t be more excited about the future of Loper volleyball,” said Squiers.
