Northeast falls to Minnesota West

WORTHINGTON, MN – The Northeast Community College men’s basketball team finished up its three-game road trip in as many days Monday against Minnesota West here. The Hawks fell to the Bluejays 73-70.

Jeremiah Codden led the Hawks with 18 points and eight rebounds. Melkisedek Moreaux added a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Jaquan Sanders finished with 11 points and three assists.

On the Minnesota trip, Northeast fell to Central Lakes College, 78-77 on Saturday and defeated the St. Thomas University JV the following day, 88-53.

The Hawks (5-4) will be back in action at home tonight when its hosts Southeast Community College at the Cox Activity Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk at 7 pm.
