Panhandle Humane Society overflowing with cats

It’s the end of “kitten season,” and this year the Panhandle Humane Society is feeling the brunt of it.

This week more than 100 cats were at the Scottsbluff shelter, and staff has slashed adoption prices in hopes of finding these furry felines a forever home.’s Ryan Murphy caught up with PHS staff, who explain the influx they are experiencing:
