We’ll have three legion baseball games from two separate locations tonight here at KNEB.
The Westco Zephyrs will host the Bridgeport Bombers in a junior/seniors doubleheader at Cleveland Field.
It’s fan appreciation and senior recognition night at the ballpark. There’s free admission all night long and the first 300 to arrive at Cleveland Field will get a free hot dog, bag of chips, baked beans, and cookie.
The Zephyrs enter at 16-15 on the season and they won the first match-up against the Bombers, 9-0, back on June 22nd in Bridgeport.
Bridgeport owns a seniors record of 7-15.

The Express juniors host Bridgeport starting at 5 p.m.
At Oregon Trail Park it’s Gering Platte Valley Companies starting a two day, four game series with Martin, South Dakota. The two teams will play two games tonight and then two more tomorrow afternoon.
Gering comes in riding a four game winning streak as they’ve improved to 17-13 coming down the stretch.
In the only meeting of the season between the two teams it was all Martin as they downed PVC 21-7 way back on June 2nd at the Chadron Tournament.

The Gering B&C Steel juniors have tonight off as they prepare for the start of the Class B Area 7 Juniors Tournament that runs Friday through Tuesday in Ogallala.
