YORK, Neb. – Another player from the York Dukes State Championship team has signed his letter of intent to play football at the next level.
Senior Jaiden Verhage inked his name Friday morning to continue his academic and football career at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Verhage said after his first visit, it felt like home.
York Head Coach Glen Snodgrass said Verhage is the type of kid that will make sacrifices for the betterment of the team.
The Dukes offensive lineman will stay in the trenches for the Prairie Wolves, recruited at the guard position. Verhage chose Nebraska Wesleyan over Concordia, Midland, Chadron and Wayne State.
