WSC football hosting three camps during final week of June

The Wayne State College football program will be hosting three camps during the final week of June. The annual 8-man Team Camp is set Sunday, June 24th through Tuesday, June 26th. The Young Cats Individual Camp (Grades 2-8) will take place on Friday, June 29th with a Top Cats High School Individual Camp (9th-12th Grade) set for Saturday, June 30th at Bob Cunningham Field in Wayne.

The 8-Man Team Camp is a full padded, high and hard team camp that runs for three days with team practices and competitions. Cost is $155 per camper for overnight and $125 per camper commuter rate.

The Young Cats Individual Camp starts with registration from 11:30 a.m. -12 p.m. with the camp running from 12 – 5 p.m. The day includes skill instruction and competition for all athletes with sandwiches and drinks provided at 5 p.m. Cost is $25 per camper.

The Top Cats Individual Camp is Saturday, June 30th with registration from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. and the camp running until 3 p.m. The morning session from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. includes combine testing and skill instruction. Following a lunch break at 12 p.m., the afternoon session from 1-3 p.m. features skill instruction and competitions. Cost is $65 per camper.
