YORK, Neb. – Less than 24 hours after Nebraska’s walk-on event, York’s Noah Stafursky chose the Huskers.
Stafursky announced Thursday that he has accepted a walk-on offer to become a Nebraska Cornhusker. It is said the 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds Stafursky will begin his Nebraska career as an offensive lineman. He chose to walk-on at Nebraska over a scholarship from Division II Northwest Missouri State.
Stafursky will join former Duke, Simon Otte, and current York classmate, Garrett Snodgrass, in Lincoln. The Huskers could also garner another Duke when 2019 wide receiver Brady Danielson decides whether to remain committed to Northern State for basketball, or decommit and join the Husker walk-on program.
