Born and raised in a cornfield in Sodtown, NE (Look it up. It exists!). In elementary school I was told by a teacher that I needed to be quiet because, and I quote, "You'll never make a living by talking". I took that as a challenge and I'm now approaching 30 years in the broadcasting business. I've worked in Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, Lexington and now, very proud to be in York. I've been playing country music for so long, I remember introducing most of the great artists we play on Max Country 104.9 as ”Here's a brand new singer". I look forward to playing the best country music for you every day. Feel free to come find me on Facebook or Twitter and send me a friend request, and thanks for listening to Country's all time hits, Max Country 104.9!

I grew up in York, Nebraska and graduated from York High School in 2008. I pursued a career in Cosmetology then realized it just wasn't for me. I am married with 4 beautiful children who keep me busy on a daily basis. Working at Kawl/Max Country has been great from day one! I handle all the traffic, orders, and pretty well anything else that gets handed to me here at the station!

"I grew up in Parks, NE surrounded by cattle, wheat, and hay. There were two stations we could pick up crystal clear -790 KXXX and 880 KRVN. So, my love for this music began while riding along with Dad to tag calves or rake hay. I've also had the privilege to work for both of those stations and am currently still part of the farm team for KRVN. I graduated college in 2010 and shortly after married my husband, Ben. We live and farm near Worms, NE raising corn, soybeans, cattle, and kids. We currently have two rascally boys who enjoy listening to Mama on the radio, especially if they're riding along with Dad in the tractor. Ben finds it ideal that I get paid to talk to someone besides him and I just enjoy the conversation! Please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @bspfarms and join the fun!"

I grew up in Henderson, Nebraska where I attended Heartland Community Schools and graduated in 2011. After high school, I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to pursue a Business Degree from Southeast Community College. I was selected as an Intern at KAWL/Max Country in the summer of 2015. Upon graduating from SCC in the fall of 2015, I was given the opportunity to become a full-time employee. Being in the News Department at the station is a great honor and I truly love what I do everyday.

I have been doing radio for over a decade, I love it. I get to come in, play music, do voices, and talk and get paid, no brainer duh! I have worked in the Lincoln radio market, and the Grand Island market before settling in York. After growing up in San Diego my parents though moving to Aurora, NE would be a nice change, and change it was. It took a while but after moving back to California a few times, I have decided to settle here in the Good Land. Although I still don't like snow I am active in my church, I play drums, am a father of two, and love baseball. I also freelance as a newspaper reporter and photographer.. I love meeting listeners, so introduce yourself. I am here to make your day fun, one corny joke at a time.
