The Cuming County Board of Supervisors voted Wednesday to have Teri Lamplot of Thurston County to be the next executive director of Cuming County Economic Development. She starts January 2nd.
Teri was born and raised on a farm south of Lincoln and made her way to northeast Nebraska after marrying someone from the Pender area. They have a family farm.
Teri graduated from UNL with a degree in dental hygiene and her first job was a hygienist in Cuming County. She also attended law school for three semesters. She was elected to the Thurston County Board where she served for 10 years.
