Operations Manager & Morning Show on Max firstname.lastname@example.org
Born and raised in a cornfield in Sodtown, NE (Look it up. It exists!). In elementary school I was told by a teacher that I needed to be quiet because, and I quote, "You'll never make a living by talking". I took that as a challenge and I'm now approaching 30 years in the broadcasting business. I've worked in Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, Lexington and now, very proud to be in York. I've been playing country music for so long, I remember introducing most of the great artists we play on Max Country 104.9 as ”Here's a brand new singer". I look forward to playing the best country music for you every day. Feel free to come find me on Facebook or Twitter and send me a friend request, and thanks for listening to Country's all time hits, Max Country 104.9!

"I grew up in Parks, NE surrounded by cattle, wheat, and hay. There were two stations we could pick up crystal clear -790 KXXX and 880 KRVN. So, my love for this music began while riding along with Dad to tag calves or rake hay. I've also had the privilege to work for both of those stations and am currently still part of the farm team for KRVN. I graduated college in 2010 and shortly after married my husband, Ben. We live and farm near Worms, NE raising corn, soybeans, cattle, and kids. We currently have two rascally boys who enjoy listening to Mama on the radio, especially if they're riding along with Dad in the tractor. Ben finds it ideal that I get paid to talk to someone besides him and I just enjoy the conversation! Please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @bspfarms and join the fun!"
Sports and News Director/Mornings with Gene Curtis on 104.9 Max Country firstname.lastname@example.org
I was born and raised in Cambridge, Nebraska where I graduated in 2015. Out of high school, I was hired by our sister station KRVN out of Lexington where I worked until August of 2019. I did a number of sports broadcasts, podcasts, and wrote blogs and articles for high school and collegiate sports. During my time at KRVN, I attended the University of Nebraska Kearney where I double majored in both Sports Communication and Sports Management. I love to provide coverage for both news and sports for our area communities. My wonderful wife, Mackenzie, and I are loving being in the area and look forward and are excited to be here. Outside of work, I enjoy attending sporting events, movies, concerts and traveling. If you see me in your community for a broadcast or covering an event, say hello!

I love doing radio. I get to come in and talk and get paid, no brainer! I have been doing it for a long time, and in several markets including Lincoln, and Grand Island before landing in York. I grew up in San Diego, but have lived in Nebraska most of my adult life. It's better here. Sure they have nice weather all year, overrated! (Sarcasm) You will hear me on both KOOL RADIO and Max Country. I also help out broadcasting sports. I am a father of two, active in my church, and love playing my drums. I am a Seinfeld fan, and to say I am a huge fan, would be an understatement. Love baseball. Next to GOD and my family, baseball is a close third place. I'm also a freelance journalist and photographer. Don't be afraid if you see me out broadcasting, to stop by and say howdy. (Why do people get scared when they see a microphone?) Love to meet you. Thanks for listening. Giddy Up!

Coop’s professional broadcasting career began as a voice-over announcer at a commercial station in Illinois, while he was a student at Western Illinois University. After working in radio in Illinois and Iowa, he came to Omaha, eventually handling morning drive at two stations. In 2003 he left radio to pursue business opportunities, which would take him to locations around the world. In 2017, Coop was lured back to broadcasting to be a part of the Rural Radio Network. He says, “I am absolutely thrilled to be back on the radio. Thank you to everyone in Nebraska and the RRN for making me feel like I never left!” In between his radio and voice- over career, Coop and his wife Lora are active in their church and love spoiling their three children and three grandchildren.
