Angela Holtmeier Chosen to Lead County Court in Hebron

Angela Holtmeier, legal assistant for Murray Law, PC LLO in Hebron, Nebraska, has been selected to serve as Thayer County Court Clerk Magistrate in Hebron.  Holtmeier will begin work as Clerk Magistrate for the first judicial district on April 19, 2021.

“Angela’s education and broad experience working with the courts and court processes have prepared her to take on the clerk magistrate position in Thayer County Court,” according to Trial Court Services Director Sheryl Connolly.

County Court Clerk Magistrates work under the general direction of the presiding county judge supervising, assigning, and directing the work of all staff within the county court. The position carries a high level of responsibility for the people, paperwork, finances, and court records. Holtmeier will be responsible for ensuring the court’s administrative functions efficiency and for investigating and evaluating potential procedural changes.

Holtmeier will work in the 1st Judicial District with fellow Clerk Magistrates Cassondra Buethe, Falls City; Tammie Duensing, Fairbury; Nancy Hall, Auburn; Joshua McDougall, Wilber;  Sherri Ullman, Beatrice; and LaRita Weber, Tecumseh/Pawnee City.

Judge Linda Bauer, Judge Curt Maschman, and newly appointed judge Jeffrey Gaertig direct court operations in the First Judicial District.
