(AUDIO) Pender Pool opens for season

The Village of Pender opened up their pool last week. Board Member David Hoelting says people should come in groups.

Hoelting says water fountains aren’t currently open, and people should bring their own water bottles.

He adds the slide is closed, and only one person is allowed on the low board at a time.

Hoelting says the pool is operating at reduced capacity.

Hoelting says there hasn’t been more than 30 people wanting to come in at a time as of yet.

He adds the pool is open from 1:00-8:00 p.m. until August 9th.

Hoelting says they are charging admission.

Hoelting says the pool is limited to the General Area.

Hoelting says swimming lessons are being held in the morning starting at about 11:00.
