(AUDIO) Ricketts Announces New Changes to COVID-19 Testing

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts and University of Nebraska President Ted Carter held a press briefing on Tuesday, where they discussed protocols for returning college students back to campus in the fall.

Before Carter spoke, Gov. Ricketts made several announcements regarding Coronavirus safety and testing in the state.

Gov. Ricketts announced that TestNebraska will be increasing the number of Coronavirus tests they are able to process in a day. Ricketts said over 237,000 Nebraskans have registered to be tested.

Gov. Ricketts said the Nebraska National Guard was going to be more involved in Coronavirus testing.

Gov. Ricketts reminds Nebraskans of the safety measures that can help reduce the spread of the virus.
