City Snow Emergencies Going Into Effect for Most of the Panhandle

With a blizzard working its way into the region, many cities across the Panhandle have declared a snow emergency.

Under a snow emergency, city officials ask that people refrain from parking their vehicles on main roadways that crews will be plowing during the storm.

Cities that have declared a snow emergency include:

  • Scottsbluff
  • Gering
  • Terrytown
  • Mitchell
  • Morrill
  • Alliance
  • Bayard
  • Kimball
  • Sidney
