County Approves Sub-Contract on Keno Operation Through End of 2022

Following months of discussion and negotiation on a proposal by Andy Clarkson to transfer Scotts Bluff County’s Keno operations to a different business, the operation will officially remain with Lucky One for the time being.

However, there will be one modification, as Management Accountant Lisa Rien explained to the County Board this week. “Small Computer Solutions and Ryan Keller will begin the process to take over the business, but Lucky One will still be involved for the whole term of the contract.”  The term of that contract goes until the end of Dec. 2022.

Rien said Lucky One will continue to be the bonded operator through that time period, but the intent of the agreement is that Small Computer Solutions would then enter into negotiations with the County to become the sole operator of those games starting in 2023.

Commissioners voted 3-2 in favor of the amended agreement.
