DAVID CITY- An accident early Tuesday morning in Butler County closed Highway 92 from the intersection where Highway 92 and Highway 81 meet, to the east.
As of approximately 1:30 P.M. the Highway was re-opened.
On 10/22/19 at approximately 7:00 A.M. the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle that had struck a train on Hwy 92 near mile marker 420. The initial investigation shows that the vehicle was traveling westbound when it ran into the northbound train. The driver of the westbound vehicle along with four passengers was all transported to the Butler County Health Care Center. Three were then transported to Lincoln General Hospital West. Extent of injuries will not be released at this time. The investigation is ongoing by the Butler County Sheriff’s Department along with the Nebraska State Patrol.
