March 27th, 2020 | Amanda Mendoza

YORK COUNTY- Earlier this week the York County Commissioners signed off on a disaster declaration in response to the COVID-19 public health threat. It was done at this time so that they can access financial resources from state and federal agencies if necessary. The declaration acknowledges that Nebraska Governor Pete Rickets has already declared a state of emergency due to COVID-19. As of right now, there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in York County.
