Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Weekly Update

On Friday, April 9, the Four Corners Risk Dial was reset and decreased to 1.52 for the upcoming week.  With the decrease from the prior week’s 1.83 to this week’s 1.52, the dial is set in the Yellow: Moderate COVID-19 Risk Level.  Public health recommendations and the COVID-19 dashboard are posted on our website atwww.fourcorners.ne.gov.

In the past 2 days (April 8-9), there were 8 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • Seward County had 6 new cases to remain at 1,942 cases total.
  • Butler County increased by 1 new case to total 851.
  • Polk County added 1 new case for 583 total cases.
  • York County had no new cases to remain at 1,709 cases.

As of April 9, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 5,086.  There were 47 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 20 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

Over the prior 7 days (April 3 – 9), the totals for each county are as follows:

  • Butler County—1
  • Polk County—1
  • Seward County—16
  • York County–2

All Four Corners residents age 18+ are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination at the District’s designated vaccination sites.  Appointments to schedule a vaccine locally are being added each week on the state’s vaccine registration system atvaccinate.ne.gov .  After registering on the site, it is important to check your email often because your invitation to schedule a vaccine will be sent to you over email.  If you have any questions about this process, please call Four Corners at 402-362-2621.
